Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. has brewed a beer using 100% locally-produced Victorian ingredients. It’s made with malt from Geelong, hops from Rostrevor Farm, and water from Melbourne. Plus a recently rediscovered 100 year-old yeast strain named Melbourne No.1. The result is a crisp, smashable pale-ale. “This beer tells a story” says owner Dereck Hales. “It’s grown here and made here. We are a family-owned, independent business and tread our own path.”
